Steve Antoline operates various companies, which include operations in natural gas production, excavation, contracting, and property development.  Mr. Antoline was the founder of Superior Highwall Miners, Inc. (SHM), a Beckley, WV, based company, which grew into the world’s largest manufacturer of highwall mining equipment with more than 60 systems sold around the world.  In 2006, Mr. Antoline sold SHM to Lehman Brother’s Merchant Banking and Tennessee Valley Ventures, Inc.  During the next two years he stayed on as President of SHM and worked closely with Lehman Brothers, including one of the principals Josh Collins.  After departing Lehman, Mr. Antoline and Josh Collins formed Angler Capital Management, a private equity fund company.
 
Mr. Antoline’s other business ventures include being a major stockholder of Protea Biosciences (a public biosciences company), Morgantown, WV, where he currently serves on Board of Directors and Financial Audit Committee.  Mr. Antoline is also sole owner of Summit Resources, Inc.; Madison Farms, managing 3,000 acres of farm and forest land (2014 West Virginia Tree Farm of the Year award for Best Management Practices for forestry, water, conservation and wildlife management practices); and Custom Business Solutions.
 
Mr. Antoline is also currently active in the following businesses and charitable organizations: County Chairman, 2012-2013, Reaching the Summit Boy Scout Community Service Initiative, organizing and fundraising for over 34 projects utilizing 23,000 hours of community service for Nicholas County; WVU Athletic Development Council Regional Chair; Board of Directors, Remember the Miners Organization; Bank Advisory Board of Directors for BB&T Bank in Summersville, WV; Advisory Committee member and sponsor of Young Life, a non-denominational Christian organization, Nicholas County, WV; and contributor to West Virginia University Children’s Hospital and on the development committee for its satellite facility in Summersville, WV. 
 
Mr. Antoline’s past community involvement includes serving on the boards of the Nicholas County Airport Authority; Summersville Youth Athletics; Raleigh County, West Virginia YMCA; Beckley, West Virginia Chamber of Commerce; and American Red Cross–Fayette\Nicholas Chapter.
